FAQ

Before we begin.

How much does custom software cost?

Investment depends on workflows, integrations, security requirements and maintenance responsibilities. The proposal follows a scope discussion; different projects do not share one fixed price or deadline.

Who will work on my project?

Rafael is the independent technical lead and your direct contact. Any additional participation must be agreed in the proposal with clear responsibilities.

Will I own the source code?

Intellectual property, repository access, third-party licences and knowledge transfer are defined in the contract. These points should be clear before development starts.

How are confidentiality and security handled?

Data access is limited to what is needed. Confidentiality can be formalised; security, permissions, backups and retention requirements follow the application's risk profile.

What happens after launch?

Hosting, maintenance, support and evolution are agreed in the proposal. Handover documentation should support operation and planning next steps.

What if the scope changes?

Changes are assessed for cost, schedule and impact. A prioritised backlog helps decide what belongs in the current release and what becomes a later improvement.
